TURBO Coverage

OntheNet continues to work hard to improve Broadband on the Gold Coast.

In certain coverage areas ADSL2+ TURBO is now available. # ADSL2+ offers much higher speeds and more data for the same price!

Business users can also benefit from 9.2Mbps/9.2Mbps high speed symmetric SHDSL (same upload and download speed) services in the TURBO coverage area. These offer fibre speeds with DSL coverage and prices.

If your home or business is in the TURBO coverage area, the following plans types are now on TURBO enabled exchanges. Click on the plans to get more details.

The terms and conditions of TURBO exchanges include the following:

  • TURBO is currently available in certain exchange coverage areas. OntheNet is expanding TURBO coverage as demand grows. The more customers OntheNet has in an area, the sooner TURBO coverage will be extended to that area. Sign up with OntheNet today!
  • Unfortunately customers on RIMs or who are too far from the exchange to get DSL, can't currently get TURBO.
  • With ADSL2+ and SHDSL services, the delivered speed in download and upload directions depends on the quality and length of the specific customer line as well as the CPE used.
  • DSL Transfer from/to other ADSL providers is not available with TURBO.
  • TURBO plans have a minimum contract period of 12 months.

Details of the benefits of TURBO can be found here

Details of the coverage areas which are TURBO enabled can be found here

# With ADSL2+ the actual speed depends on the customer line quality and distance, internal building wiring, as well as the CPE used. The speed therefore can only be accurately determined once the service has been installed and tested. Newer ADSL2/2+ capable CPE are recommended to obtain speeds greater than 6Mbps. It is estimated that approximately 2/3 of customer locations should experience between 6 and 14 Mbps. OntheNet does not guarantee that higher speeds will be attainable in all cases.
