At OntheNet, we recognise that managing your account may sometimes be easier with support from someone you trust. You can appoint an Authorised Representative or Advocate to deal with us on your behalf. Here’s what you need to know.
-
An ‘Authorised Representative’ whom you appoint can deal with us on your behalf as your agent (including making a complaint) and can act and access information as if they were you.
- An authorised representative is different from someone simply assisting you, only a formally authorised person can act on your behalf.
- An advocate is someone you can appoint to interact with us on your behalf (including making a complaint) but;
- Cannot change your account or services; and
- Cannot act on your behalf or access your information unless you are present and agree.
- If you wish to appoint an advocate or authorised representative, please follow the below steps:
- Read and complete Authorised Representative Policy and Form
- Take your time to ensure the form is 100% correct
- Email the form to Accounts@onthenet.com.au
