A sponsorship agreement between OntheNet and Gold Coast City Council has resulted in the development of a FREE WiFi enabled network (Internet Access) throughout various parts of the Broadwater Parklands at Southport.
The locally based, engineering and development teams within OntheNet worked closely with the Gold Coast City Council and Broadwater Parklands staff to ensure that the WiFi network not only meet their technical requirements, but that it also did not detract from the architecture and landscaping ambience created within the Broadwater Parklands.
The FREE WiFi Internet service is available throughout the year and Sessions are limited to 30 minutes in length or 50MB, with a 15 minute cool off period.
Operating times:
- 7 am – 9 pm (December to March),
- 7 am – 7 pm (April to November).
Coverage Areas:
- The Little Lawn,
- The Great Lawn,
- The Main Car Park,
- The Rock Pools.
